GROUP 2

Broken kneecap

Imagine that you have your kneecap broken. This occurs when you break by accident one or more bones of your knee. It is caused by a direct blow to the front of the knee from a car accident, sports, or a fall onto concrete. The symptoms of it are several: swelling, pain when you move your leg, an appearance of a deformity due to fractured pieces. The treatment you must follow if you have your kneecap broken is to put ice or a cold pack on your knee for 10 to 20 minutes at a time and to rest at home. To avoid it, it is important to be very careful when we do sports and always do a warm-up in order to reinforce your bones and muscles.
